Evangelism and Outreach

As a church we want to be active in sharing the good news of Jesus and in serving our community. We engage in outreaches in Streatham and Tooting and do special events at Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter and in the Summer. In sharing the Gospel and building bridges to share our faith we like to be creative from worship on the streets to car washing, from running community fun days and blessing businesses to open air services. During the week we run a few regular projects, you can find out more on our "community page".

Midweek Meetings

At Southcroft, we really believe in home groups. They are a great place to gather midweek in smaller groups to pray, study the Bible, grow in gifts and get to know one another better. We currently have groups meeting in homes in Streatham and Mitcham on Wednesdays and Thursday evenings.  If you are interested in joining in with these midweek meetings, please visit us on a Sunday first, get to know us more, and then speak to Phil or Hayley Tate.

On Friday evenings during school term time it's J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) for our Teen's (Secondary School age) for fun, food, games, worship and relevant Bible teaching aimed at equipping our young people to live for God. If you're a parent and you would like to find out more please get in touch.

Fellowship and Eating together

On the first Sunday of the month we usually enjoy a shared lunch together after church. Everyone brings something to share – but don’t worry there is always lots of food so you are welcome to join in, even if you didn’t bring anything!

We really believe in fellowship and sharing all things in common (Acts 2:42) so we have tea and coffee together at the end of each Sunday morning meeting. We also regularly eat in each other’s homes to share life together and  build community.
